Biodynaamisen viljelyn säätiö

The Foundation for Biodynamic Farming is a Finnish foundation dedicated to advancing sustainable, vibrant agriculture that works in balance with people and nature. It supports research, education, cultivation and model farms, promoting an approach in which soil, plants, animals and people are part of an interconnected whole. Its work highlights living soils, biodiversity, self-sufficient farms and agricultural practices that contribute to carbon storage and long-term soil fertility. Methods include biodynamic preparations, composting, crop rotation and the integration of livestock.

The foundation also helps people learn about biodynamic farming and discover farms in their regions. Individuals and businesses can support its work through donations or regular sponsorship. Supporters may choose to become a seedling sponsor, field friend or farm sponsor, and can follow the impact of their contribution and take part in farm visits. The foundation’s initiatives aim to sustain model farms and training, strengthen farming communities and develop resilient agricultural practices for future generations. It is based in Helsinki and also shares news and information about biodynamic farming and farms.
