Biofuel Networks is a digital marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of agricultural-residue biomass. Its platform serves farmers, agricultural processors, pelletizers, briquette manufacturers, traders, industries and other buyers, helping them discover market prices and trade with reduced brokerage costs. Biomass materials featured on the site include groundnut husk powder, pine sawdust, coconut shell waste, acacia stalks and chickpea husk.

Users register, submit documents for KYC verification and choose a membership package suited to their needs. The Farmer Package supports individual farmers listing residues and finding buyers. The Golden Package is aimed at traders, industries and processors operating within one city, while the Diamond Package includes dedicated support, a multi-city dashboard and access to state-level data. Members can list available biomass, browse verified buyers and suppliers, and negotiate deals through the portal. Once a deal is finalized, payment and logistics are arranged directly by the buyer and supplier; Biofuel Networks acts as a facilitator rather than a middleman.
