Indian Biogas Association

The Indian Biogas Association (IBA) is an industry association working to advance biogas adoption and support the growth of India’s bioenergy sector. It promotes the transformation of organic waste into renewable energy and advocates for a cleaner, more sustainable future. Through its knowledge hub, IBA provides information, expert insights, and resources for people and organizations exploring biogas solutions.

Its services include online and classroom biogas training, feasibility services, biogas laboratory testing, a mobile app with tools such as a biogas calculator, and biogas magazines. These offerings are designed to build sector knowledge and develop skilled manpower. IBA also represents the industry on national and international platforms, connects members and stakeholders, and supports collaboration across the sector.

Its events include the Bio-Energy Pavilion, which brings together participants for exhibitions, partnerships, networking, and conferences focused on bioenergy, biogas, compressed biogas, and clean technology. By combining education, industry advocacy, and opportunities for engagement, IBA works to strengthen the biogas community and contribute to India’s renewable energy development
