Biographie Portal is an online resource for searching biographical information. Its search interface lets visitors look up people by first and last name, profession, and details associated with their lives, including places and dates of birth and death. Users can refine a query by specifying whether a date falls before, around, or after a chosen year, helping them narrow their search.

The portal’s main navigation includes sections for learning about the site, getting help, and viewing its legal notice, privacy policy, and accessibility information. The interface is available in German, English, French, Italian, and Slovenian. These features make Biographie Portal a practical starting point for people seeking biographical records or exploring individuals by occupation, location, or life dates.

The site also provides an email contact address for inquiries. Its focus, as reflected in the available page text, is access to biographical searches and supporting information about using the portal
