BioKey provides biometric access systems for homes and businesses in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Its BioKey readers, made in Berlin by IDENCOM, offer several ways to unlock a door: fingerprint, PIN code, RFID card or chip, and, on selected INSIDE models, a smartphone connected through the BioKey App for Android and iOS. Users can have individual access credentials, making the systems suitable for households and teams.
BioKey offers two main reader configurations. BioKey INSIDE is installed directly in a door and works with compatible electric strikes and motorised locks. BioKey GATE is mounted on or in a wall beside the door and can also suit existing doors; standalone and networked options are available. Capacity varies by configuration, from up to 150 credentials for standalone GATE readers to 5,000 for server-based versions.
