About BIOKU
Bioku is a brand that specializes in organic pastries and bakery products. Founded by Antonio Rodríguez, Bioku was born out of his desire to align his work with his values. After realizing that the products he was making did not reflect his beliefs, Antonio made a change.
He became a vegetarian, started consuming organic products, and began making his own bread. With the support of his friends, he opened the first 100% healthy organic bakery in Lleida in 1986. Bioku is committed to promoting ecology and contributing to the protection of the environment, animal welfare, and rural development.
They prioritize ethical and fair trade practices based on social, environmental, ecological, and health criteria. With a focus on local production, all of their products are made daily in their bakery in Lleida. They source their ingredients from local producers who practice certified organic farming.
