Bioland ist der bedeutendste Verband für ökologischen Landbau in Deutschland und Südtirol. Rund 9.000 Betriebe aus Landwirtschaft, Gärtnerei und Imkerei sowie Weingüter wirtschaften nach den Bioland-Richtlinien. Hinzu kommen mehr als 1.500 Partner aus Herstellung und Handel wie Bäckereien, Molkereien, Metzgereien und Gastronomie. Gemeinsam bilden sie eine Wertegemeinschaft zum Wohl von Mensch und Umwelt.

About Bioland e.V.
Bioland Südtirol is a brand that was founded in 1991 by ten fruit farmers who were pioneers in South Tyrolean agriculture. Today, it boasts over 1000 Bioland farms in the region. At Bioland Südtirol, active climate, soil, and nature protection are of utmost importance.
They prioritize promoting biodiversity through various ecological measures while also focusing on enhancing soil fertility, humane animal husbandry, responsible use of natural resources, and producing valuable food. Their aim is to preserve the natural foundations of life and ensure a sustainable future for the people of South Tyrol. Bioland Südtirol became a cooperative under Italian law in April 2021, and their new leadership, Nathalie Bellutti and Walter Steger, were elected for the period of 2021-2024.
With Bioland Südtirol, you can expect regional and up-to-date information about agriculture, agroforestry, and other sustainable practices, as well as access to their online marketplace for organic farming supplies and services. They also have initiatives such as "Bio Fair Südtirol" and "Bio in Südtirol" to promote the use of organic and local produce in gastronomy and highlight the diversity of South Tyrolean organic farms
