The ClearCell® FX1 System by Biolidics is a fully automated CE-IVD medical device which relies on a novel patented technology to separate and enrich cancer cells from blood. This allows users of the system to perform liquid biopsies to test for the presence of cancer cells (specifically circulating tumour cells, or CTCs) in blood samples or perform further analysis on cancer cells, providing a simple and minimally invasive alternative to tissue biopsies, which involve the surgical removal of tissue from a patient's body. Our patented award-winning microfluidic technologies have many applications throughout the various stages of a patient's cancer journey, from cancer screening and staging to personalised treatment, and post-cancer monitoring. The ClearCell® FX1 System has been installed in academic and research institutes, hospitals and laboratories across the world, including Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Japan, the US and certain EU countries.
