Welcome to Biolightweight Architecture, a brand that combines biology and design to create innovative architectural solutions. Our inspiration comes from nature, as we observe its form, function, and structure to design spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also safe and intelligent. In 1967, Frei Otto revolutionized architectural forms by constructing a membrane pavilion at the Universal Expo in Montreal.
This paved the way for lightweight architecture and sustainable design. At Biolightweight Architecture, we prioritize resource efficiency without compromising on form and aesthetics. Led by Roberto Muñoz, a renowned lightweight architect, our team has dedicated over twenty years to conquering new milestones in textile architectural design.
We carefully choose and work with materials that are both durable and lightweight, pushing the boundaries to reach new heights. With a focus on nature and the future, our projects include the Cuauhtémoc Stadium, the Mexico Pavilion at the Universal Expo in Milan, and the Paseo la Fe.
