The Center for Biomedical Prevention is an educational initiative focused on helping people understand how to prevent disease and support its early detection. It publishes clear, practical information based on clinical recommendations, including checklists, guides, and explanations of health risks. Its materials cover cardiovascular health, such as blood pressure and cholesterol; metabolic health, including blood glucose, weight, and nutrition; age- and sex-appropriate cancer screening; and immunization schedules and preparation.

The Center also offers a checklist of routine examinations for adults, with guidance on monitoring blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, body mass index, and waist circumference, as well as arranging annual visits with a general practitioner. Screening plans should be tailored with a clinician. The initiative aims to make prevention information understandable and useful, and updates its content as guidance changes.

Its resources are intended for education and do not replace professional medical advice; decisions about examinations should be made in consultation with a healthcare specialist
