About Bioresurse
National Research and Development Institute for Food Bioresources – IBA Bucharest is a renowned public research entity, operating under the coordination of the Ministry of Research and Innovation. Our extensive research activities span across four crucial areas: food safety, nutrition, consumer behavior, and food (Bio)technologies. With a dedicated team of experts, we conduct cutting-edge research in nine state-of-the-art laboratories, along with three pilot experimental stations.
Additionally, we have two specialized departments that cater to support actions and long-life learning initiatives. At IBA Bucharest, we are committed to industry-oriented practices, focusing on the development of innovative products, advanced technologies, analytical laboratory methods, and comprehensive studies with strategic implications.
