Biospace Lab develops advanced imaging systems and software for preclinical research, helping scientists observe and quantify biological processes as they happen. Its product range includes the ORSO and ORSO COMPACT systems for real-time bioluminescence and fluorescence imaging, the ORIA platform for NIR-II/SWIR imaging, and BetaIMAGER systems for digital autoradiography. Optical imaging platforms can combine bioluminescence, fluorescence and X-ray capabilities, with modular options such as 3D imaging, Macrolens and freely moving animal imaging. These systems support sensitive, quantitative measurements and can capture fast biological dynamics.
Biospace Lab’s NIR-II/SWIR technology is designed to image deeper structures with reduced background, supporting applications such as vascular imaging, nanoparticle tracking and nanothermometry. Its autoradiography solutions measure radioisotope distribution in samples, with configurations for high throughput or high resolution, including spatial resolution down to 10 micrometers. The technology builds on gas detector research pioneered by founder Georges Charpak.
