About Sabant
Biotech Materials is a biotechnology company on a mission to disrupt the leather market and promote sustainability. With a vision to inspire the implementation of circular economies, they offer bio-based leather made from grain leftovers. Unlike traditional animal or synthetic leather production, their innovative approach uses barley malt waste, reducing the need for chemicals by at least 50%.
As the second largest polluter after fossil fuels and agriculture, the fashion industry is a major focus for Biotech Materials.
