Birch Grove Studios

Birch Grove Studios is an Alaska-based pottery studio and art gallery in Wasilla, offering handcrafted stoneware and opportunities for people to explore pottery. Its studio creates Alaska-made pottery, while the gallery showcases work made there alongside other art and fine gifts. Visitors can browse the collection at the studio’s new location on West Machen Road, just off the Parks Highway.

The studio also offers pottery classes, with new classes listed as beginning in September, and membership tiers that provide additional access to the studio. These options support both learning and ongoing creative practice, whether visitors are interested in trying pottery or making it part of their routine. Birch Grove Studios describes its approach as hands-on and welcoming: create, learn, and get your hands dirty.

The gallery and studio are located at 3915 W Machen Road, Wasilla, Alaska. Business hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the studio is closed Sunday and Monday.
