Birdline UK

Birdline Parrot Rescue is a UK registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming parrots and other exotic birds across England, Scotland and Wales. Run entirely by volunteers, the organisation has rehomed thousands of birds and works to improve standards of parrot care nationwide. Its rehoming approach centres on finding birds safe, loving, long-term foster homes with Birdline members, helping to reduce the cycle of repeated moves many parrots experience.

Alongside rescue and rehoming, Birdline provides advice, education and resources on avian welfare, including diet, health, enrichment and household hazards. Its website offers guidance on applying to foster a bird, surrendering a bird, future planning, species and the rehoming process, as well as a directory of avian vets and information about health, wellbeing and aviaries. Birdline also raises awareness through events and volunteering, and invites people to support its work by joining, donating, sponsoring a bird or volunteering. Funding comes from membership, foster fees, donations and events.
