Bird Spikes is a South African supplier of locally manufactured bird-deterrent products, produced since 2000 for homes, retail premises, and industrial sites. Its UV-resistant polycarbonate plastic spikes are designed to discourage feral pigeons, doves, seagulls, crows, and other birds from landing and roosting. The company presents them as an eco-friendly, cost-effective, long-term approach to common bird pest problems.
The spikes are sold for R68 per meter, including VAT, with a minimum order of seven meters. Each meter contains three pieces, and customers can collect orders in Muizenberg, Cape Town, or arrange courier delivery anywhere in South Africa; courier charges depend on location and order size. The company also provides installation guidance for fitting spikes to ledges, window sills, beams, roof tiles, gutters, pipes, and air conditioners. Fixing options include polyurethane adhesive, rivets, nails, screws, or cable ties, depending on the surface. Customers can contact Bird Spikes to discuss their requirements, request courier rates, or place an order.
