Birra Orso Verde is an Italian craft brewery based in Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese. Brewing since 2004, the company brings together a long-standing passion for hops and malt with a commitment to artisanal production. Its beers are described as unpasteurized, unfiltered and made without preservatives, with the aim of delivering an authentic, full-flavoured experience.
The range spans a variety of styles and tastes, from hop-forward American Pale Ale and double dry-hopped IPAs to Slovenian Pale Ale, Extra Special Bitter and American Strong Ale. Other offerings include a Gose brewed with Sicilian sea salt, hibiscus flowers and coriander, as well as DNA, a gluten-free Pacific Ale. Across the collection, flavour notes can include lively bitterness, caramel, honey, liquorice and fruit.
Birra Orso Verde sells its beers through an online shop and welcomes pubs, bars, restaurants, event organisers and beer shops interested in becoming retailers. Visitors can also discover the brewery and its company shop in Busto Arsizio.
