Birth Certificate Check is an informational website that guides people in Bangladesh through online birth registration verification using the government’s Birth and Death Registration Information System (BDRIS). It explains how to check a record with a 17-digit birth registration number and date of birth in YYYY-MM-DD format, and describes how to view and print a verification copy. The site also provides troubleshooting advice for common issues, including incorrect details, older registration numbers, records that have not been digitised, CAPTCHA errors, and temporary website problems.

Its guidance covers the limits of the official system: searches by name are not supported, and the site says there is no direct SMS verification service. Visitors are directed to the official BDRIS portal for checking records and to local Union Parishad, municipality, or city corporation offices when records need updating or a registration number must be recovered. The website presents its service as free and helps users understand the steps and information required to verify a birth record online
