Birthday Color Cafein

Birthday Color Cafein is an innovative independent project that blends the rich traditions of Japanese and Chinese cultural palettes. Founded by Ele Sun, a designer-developer from East Asia, this engaging platform allows users to uncover their personal birthday color, alongside various related elements like a season, a piece of poetry, and unique readings, including a guardian creature from Chinese mythology and a Five Elements profile.

The project is rooted in the Japanese birthday-color tradition but utilizes sixty-four traditional Chinese hues, drawing inspiration from historical art and material culture. Users simply enter their birthday, and through an original deterministic algorithm, they receive their personalized color and experience immediate cultural insights.

Committed to user privacy, Birthday Color Cafein does not collect personal data and operates without a backend, ensuring all calculations occur on the user’s device. While accessing the site is free, the optional Bazi personality report provides an additional layer of exploration for those interested in deeper insights, all created from a place of genuine passion for color and culture.
