Birthing By Calm

Birthing By Calm is a HypnoBirthing childbirth education provider serving Washington, Michigan, and families across the Metro Detroit area. Led by Tiffany Timmins, the business teaches the Mongan Method and has 16 years of teaching experience, serving hundreds of families. Its classes help expectant parents and their birth companions prepare for birth with greater calm and confidence. Participants learn specialized breathing, visualization, and self-hypnosis techniques, along with Rebozo techniques for positioning and comfort for parent and baby. The approach is presented as suitable for births at home, in hospitals, or at birthing centers, and can complement care from midwives and doctors.

Birthing By Calm offers in-person group classes in Washington, as well as private in-person and online classes via Zoom. Standard group courses meet weekly for five 2.5-hour sessions, with daytime and evening options. The business also provides refresher courses for couples who have previously completed a HypnoBirthing course; these are offered as a two-day program. Additional offerings include a Calm Birth workshop, resources, testimonials, and Rebozo sales.
