About BitSafe
BitSafe started with a simple conviction: decentralized infrastructure had to be built, not just discussed. Over several years, the team worked across networks on threshold signatures, multi-party custody, and governance systems designed for real institutional capital.
That work found its clearest home on Canton Network, the open institutional network for capital markets, where privacy is embedded in the architecture. BitSafe brought Bitcoin to Canton with CBTC, the network’s first non-native asset, secured with FROST threshold signatures across independent institutional operators. CBTC became the production proof that decentralized custody and governance could operate at scale on Canton.
Today, BitSafe is decentralizing on-chain finance. Its open-source Decentralization Manager makes Canton’s decentralized-party model easier for institutions and developers to deploy and manage. Builders can create Decentralized Parties, configure governance, and launch governed applications without rebuilding the underlying infrastructure from scratch. BitSafe builds the infrastructure. The ecosystem builds on top.
