Bivakzone.be is an independent, volunteer-driven platform dedicated to providing comprehensive information about official bivouac zones across Flanders and Wallonia. Catering specifically to nature lovers, backpackers, and cyclists, the site highlights legal, rustic camping spots where visitors can pitch their tents for one or two nights while adhering to the 'leave no trace' principle. These bivak zones are designed for individual trekkers, ensuring a tranquil experience away from the disturbance of motorized vehicles or large groups.

Bivakzone.be features an extensive directory of bivak zones, complete with essential details such as coordinates and location maps, empowering outdoor enthusiasts to plan their multi-day adventures. The initiative promotes respect for nature and fellow campers, encouraging users to leave the space pristine for the next adventurers. While the platform does not manage the bivak areas, it serves as a vital resource for responsible camping in Belgium, fostering an appreciation for the environment and sustainable outdoor recreation. Enjoy a night under the stars while immersing yourself in the beautiful landscapes of Belgium!
