About BİYOSEN
BİYOSEN is the Employers’ Union of Biotechnology, Tissue and Stem Cell Centers, an organization working to strengthen Türkiye’s biotechnology sector and its wider ecosystem. Through specialist committees, it brings together priorities spanning health, industrial, environmental, agricultural and food biotechnology, as well as diagnostics, molecular technologies, regulation and sector infrastructure. Its work focuses on supporting domestic production and research capacity, improving skills and workforce development, encouraging university–industry collaboration, and contributing to regulatory and policy discussions.
BİYOSEN’s committees address areas such as tissue banking and biomaterials, in vitro diagnostics, PCR and sequencing technologies, enzyme and fermentation production, biofuels, bioremediation, laboratory services, agricultural biotechnology and biotechnology-based pharmaceutical and cosmetic ingredients. The union also promotes international partnerships, investment and export strategies, alongside education and certification initiatives. Its website shares sector reports, announcements, events, webinars and multimedia, and provides information about membership, committees, partners and union activities. Through these initiatives, BİYOSEN aims to foster cooperation among industry stakeholders and help advance biotechnology from research toward production and broader application.
