SCORE Mentors

SCORE is a nationwide organization that helps entrepreneurs and small businesses start, grow, and succeed. Serving business owners since 1964, it provides free, confidential mentoring from experienced business leaders, with local connections tailored to each person’s location and business needs. Entrepreneurs can browse mentor profiles or chat live with a mentor for practical guidance.

SCORE also offers business education through expert-led webinars, workshops, online courses, training programs, CEO forums, roundtables, and pitch events, delivered both online and in person. Its resources include articles, guides, recorded webinars, templates, and specialized small business hubs. These tools support a wide range of needs, from validating an idea and writing a business plan to securing funding, managing finances, improving marketing, streamlining operations, and building a team.

For those launching a business, SCORE provides a step-by-step Startup Roadmap course and guidance on market research, legal structures, registration, taxes, and attracting customers. Established businesses can find advice on sales, cash flow, technology, compliance, and leadership. SCORE also invites individuals to volunteer as mentors and supporters.
