Bjerkreimsmarken is an annual agricultural fair and community festival held in Vikeså, Bjerkreim, on the last weekend of September. The event brings together farming, crafts, local businesses and entertainment, offering visitors a lively showcase of regional products and expertise. Around 110 exhibitors take part each year, presenting a wide variety of goods, including homemade items, traditional and specialty foods, decorative products, cars and large agricultural machinery. Food is available to enjoy on site or take home, and knowledgeable professionals are on hand to answer questions and offer advice.
A key feature is the Norwegian Championship in sheep shearing and wool processing, alongside activities that celebrate local sheep farming traditions. Bjerkreimsmarken welcomes visitors of all ages. Admission is free on Friday; tickets are charged on Saturday and Sunday, with reduced prices for children and a family option. Parking and a shuttle bus from Vikeså centre are free. The fair is located within convenient driving distance of Egersund, Sandnes, Bryne and Stavanger.
