About Bundesjugendvertretung
The Bundesjugendvertretung (BJV) is the legally established advocacy group for all children and young people in Austria. They are dedicated to representing the interests of youth and ensuring their rights are recognized and respected. The BJV offers a range of services and products to support children and young people in various areas.
These include promoting child and youth rights, advocating for youth protection, encouraging voluntary engagement, providing information and support on sexuality, addressing issues related to compulsory military service and civil service, promoting health and well-being, offering educational opportunities, addressing gender equality and diversity, advocating for sustainable development, and engaging young people in politics. Through their initiatives, projects, and campaigns, the BJV aims to empower and involve young people in shaping a better future for themselves and society
