BKFC is the premier organization in the sport of bareknuckle boxing. With top fighters from around the world, BKFC offers an exceptional experience, showcasing the raw power of bareknuckle combat. As the first promotion allowed to hold a legal, sanctioned, and regulated bare knuckle event in the United States since 1889, BKFC is dedicated to preserving the historical legacy of this sport. Headed by President and former professional boxer David Feldman, the organization is based in Philadelphia.
BKFC takes fighter safety seriously, implementing a rule set that emphasizes it. Fighters are allowed to wrap and tape their wrist, thumb, and mid-hand, with restrictions on gauze and tape around the knuckles. Each round starts with the fighters "Toe The Line" on two lines in the center of the ring. The excitement and anticipation builds as they "Knuckle Up", marking the beginning of the round/bout.
