BKK Info

BKK, the Budapest Centre for Transport, is the city’s public-facing source for travel information and transport services. Its website helps residents and visitors plan journeys across Budapest and stay informed about changes affecting public and road transport. Travellers can check timetables, use the BudapestGO journey planner, view real-time service updates and explore route maps. The site also provides information on tickets and passes, including prices, purchase options, Budapest Pay&GO, Budapest Card benefits and penalty fares.

BKK’s travel guidance covers buses, trams, metro, trolleybuses, boats, suburban rail, night services and airport connections, alongside accessibility, travel with dogs and special or heritage services. For active travel, it features cycling information and MOL Bubi, Budapest’s bike-sharing service, as well as shared scooters and bicycles. Road users can find updates on incidents, closures, congestion, parking, taxis and freight traffic. Search and filtering tools let users narrow current or planned changes by date, area, transport mode and disruption type. BKK also publishes customer support, accessibility and legal information.
