About BKLF
Baker- og konditorbransjens Landsforening (BKLF) is a professional association for bakeries and pastry shops in Norway. Established in 1893, the organization has been a driving force for promoting the profession and the interests of bakery businesses for over 120 years. Both companies and skilled professionals with journeymen's certificates can become members of the organization.
BKLF offers a range of services to its members, including the "Brødskala'n - spis litt grovere" program, which promotes the consumption of healthy and whole grain products. They also operate the Baker- og Konditorakademiet, providing guidance and courses for businesses and individuals looking to develop their bakery or pastry skills. BKLF is actively involved in advocacy work, focusing on industry policy and government relations. They also support and train the Norwegian national bakery and patisserie team.
