Bklyner

Bklyner is a brand that is deeply rooted in the vibrant borough of Brooklyn. With a focus on community reporting, Bklyner is dedicated to covering the diverse neighborhoods of Brooklyn and delivering news, events, and stories that matter to its residents. Originally established as a network of neighborhood news sites, Bklyner has expanded over the years, incorporating sites such as Bensonhurst Bean, Ditmas Park Corner, Fort Greene Focus, KensingtonBK, Sheepshead Bites, South Slope News, and Sunset Park Voice.

After a brief pause in September 2021, Bklyner has come back stronger than ever, adopting a newsletter-first approach. The brand continues to serve its loyal readership of nearly 500,000 individuals each month. Bklyner's funding comes from subscriptions from its dedicated readers, as well as advertising support from local businesses and institutions.

As a certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise, Bklyner values inclusivity and equal opportunity. The brand does not discriminate in its employment practices and embraces diversity in all forms. Bklyner's commitment to providing accurate, engaging, and community-oriented content has solidified its position as a trusted source of news and information in Brooklyn
