About BKNIX
BKNIX, the Bangkok Neutral Internet Exchange (IXP), was established in 2015 by the Thai Network Information Center (THNIC) foundation to enhance the internet quality for users in Thailand. This neutral IXP serves as a critical internet infrastructure supporting the continuous growth of internet data exchange in the region. BKNIX's members include ISPs, cloud providers, and research networks interconnected through carrier-class equipment capable of handling data rates up to terabits per second (Tbps).
The recently announced collaboration with Telehouse Bangkok and JPIX marks a significant milestone in enhancing internet connectivity and promoting stable data exchange within and beyond the region. Additionally, a partnership with SUPERNAP Thailand Data Center offers seamless access to BKNIX's robust peering platform, expanding connectivity options for businesses in Thailand's digital ecosystem.
