BK Medvědi Tábor is a basketball club based in Tábor, Czech Republic, focused on developing players and providing opportunities to compete across age groups. Its teams include boys’ and girls’ youth sides, mixed teams for younger children, and a men’s team, with squads competing in regional and national youth leagues. The club also introduces children to the sport through its basketball preschool and beginner preparatory program.
BK Medvědi Tábor organizes regular training sessions and matches at local sports halls, including the gym at ZŠ Helsinská, and shares schedules, results, team information, and club news with players, families, and supporters. Its website provides details about coaches, training venues, membership fees, club history, and contact information. The club offers a fan shop and a members’ section, and it has also begun livestreaming home games on YouTube so people unable to attend in person can follow the action. Volunteers can help run match-day scorekeeping, contributing to the club’s community and sporting activities.
