Black Mosquito is a not-for-profit mail-order brand that has been operating since 2003. With a focus on anarchist, emancipatory, and radical left ideas and practices, Black Mosquito works as a diffuse collective, with various individuals contributing different perspectives and dedicating different amounts of time to the project. All profits generated by the brand are reinvested into emancipatory projects, either through discounts for information centers and political groups, or through the sale of solidarity items and fair trade products.

Functioning as a digital information store, Black Mosquito aims to provide accessibility to radical content. The brand's policy regarding the materials they distribute is straightforward: they curate books, brochures, and flyers that they consider relevant or worthy of discussion. Additionally, they also respond to inquiries and suggestions from customers, political groups, and fellow organizers.

In addition to their mail-order service, Black Mosquito produces their own content such as translations, book publications under the bm-crew label, as well as their own merchandise including stickers, shirts, posters, and buttons, which can be found under the Fabrikat BM category. They also have a label called Black Mojito, which explores the subcultures between Techno and Punk.
