BlackBird Fitness

BlackBird Fitness, also known as BlackBird Martial Arts and Self Defense Academy, offers martial arts, self-defense, and striking classes in the Massillon, Canton, and Perry Township area of Ohio. The school serves children from age five through adults, with classes designed to welcome students at different ages and experience levels. Its instructors aim to help newcomers feel comfortable as they begin training, and the academy highlights an instructor with 20 years of experience.

Programs include traditional martial arts and modern self-defense, with private lessons for individuals and small groups, as well as seminars. Youth offerings include Little Ninjas classes for ages five to eight, alongside broader martial arts and self-defense programs. The academy also has a competition team. Available options include three-month class packages and specials for individuals and pairs; a new-student promotion advertises a free uniform and school shirt with a three-month signup.

BlackBird is family-owned and offers parking and card payments.
