About Black Creatives Aotearoa
Black Creatives Aotearoa (BCA) is a vibrant community founded in 2018, now comprising over 500 talented members from diverse backgrounds in Aotearoa New Zealand. Led by Dione Joseph, our Founder and Artistic Director, supported by dedicated volunteers, BCA is committed to empowering its members to achieve their audacious goals and dreams. Through national gatherings, art exhibitions, workshops, and events like The Black Out Series and the BLM Archive, we provide a platform for creatives spanning various disciplines, from poets to chefs, musicians to photographers.
