BlackDirtDistillery

Black Dirt Distillery is a New York spirits producer established as Black Dirt Distilling, LLC in 2012. Based in Pine Island, the distillery began operating in a purpose-built facility completed in 2013, equipped with a 60-foot distillation column. It produces up to 60 barrels of whiskey or apple jack each week, using ingredients sourced from the Black Dirt region.

The brand’s offerings include Black Dirt Bourbon, rye whiskey, Apple Jack and single-barrel selections. Its Bourbon earned a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Black Dirt Distillery builds on the distilling and marketing experience of co-founders Jason Grizzanti and Jeremy Kidde, who have also produced award-winning brandies and liqueurs under the American Fruits brand and Warwick gin.

Visitors can sample Black Dirt Bourbon and Apple Jack at the Warwick Valley Winery tasting room and store in Warwick, New York. The distillery’s products are also available for sale across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Tour information is available directly from the distillery.
