Black Dog Connemaras

Black Dog Farm is a private boarding and breeding facility in Plant City, Florida, specializing in eventing and Connemara Sport Horses. Located east of Tampa, the farm is about an hour and a half from the Florida Horse Park and the eventing scene in Ocala. As a smaller boutique facility, Black Dog Farm boards a limited number of horses, maintaining spacious, attractive pastures and a relaxed atmosphere.

The farm has recently completed a new barn and continues to update its amenities. Across the street, it rents a three-acre cross-country field at Full Circle Farm, featuring a small bank and fences ranging from Beginner Novice to Modified. The farm offers lessons with a small group of professional five-star riders and breeds a select number of event horses and ponies each year, with a focus on Connemaras and Connemara half-breds.

A footed, lighted dressage arena is planned as a future addition. Black Dog Farm welcomes inquiries about boarding and its horses
