Black Dragon Tae Kwon

Black Dragon Tae Kwon Do, also known as Black Dragon Martial Arts, offers traditional taekwondo training in Calgary for children, teens, and adults. Its programs aim to build fitness, confidence, focus, discipline, and practical self-defense skills in an energetic, motivating classroom environment. The school emphasizes respect, perseverance, patience, integrity, and indomitable spirit, welcoming students across ages and experience levels.

Instruction is led by Master Brown, a fifth-degree black belt in the World Taekwondo Federation with more than 30 years of martial arts experience. His teaching is informed by Grand Master Min, a Kukkiwon-certified ninth-degree black belt with over 50 years of taekwondo experience and South Korean military training.

Programs include Little Dragons for ages four to six, children’s classes for ages seven and up, family classes, teen and adult sessions, and a Sunday competition class. Weekday classes run Monday through Thursday, with teen and adult training on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Monthly memberships are listed at $100 for Little Dragons and $125 for kids and adults, with discounted family pricing available.
