Black Female Entrepreneurs Greenwich (BFEG) is a nonprofit organisation supporting Black women entrepreneurs in Greenwich and the wider community. It helps women with business ideas, start-ups and established small businesses develop the skills, confidence and connections needed to grow and work toward financial independence. Its support includes business mentoring and coaching, skills training, workshops, networking events, coffee mornings and community discussions. BFEG also helps members explore routes to local authority and private-sector contracts, develop wholesale opportunities and build online sales networks.
Through its Community Boutique, BFEG provides a place for members to showcase and sell products, including contemporary African-designed goods. Pop-up markets, exhibitions and cultural events offer further opportunities to promote businesses, creativity and heritage. The organisation also runs a community radio station featuring entertainment, education, business guidance and empowerment content.
Beyond enterprise support, BFEG describes initiatives in youth advocacy, housing support, health awareness, food projects, skills development and community education.
