Black Men Heal is a grassroots nonprofit organization that aims to provide access to mental health treatment, psycho-education, and community resources for men of color. Recognizing the broken and inequitable mental health care system that fails to cater to the needs of marginalized black and brown communities, we focus specifically on the mental health needs of Black Men. Our mission is to eliminate barriers and disparities that exist for BIPOC communities seeking treatment and increase the likelihood that Black men will proactively seek help for their mental health struggles.

To address the lack of resources and cultural competency in the mental health care field, Black Men Heal offers a range of programs and services. These include free mental health treatment, both individual and group therapy, provided by therapists of color who are specially matched to each applicant's needs. Our aim is to create a safe space where men can heal from intergenerational trauma and systemic racism.

We also provide access to Dei Resources, a blog, and a shop that supports our mission. Founded in 2018, Black Men Heal has successfully created partnerships and collaborations to make a meaningful impact. We are dedicated to removing the stigma associated with mental health treatment in Black and Brown communities.
