About Black Moon Botanica
Black Moon Botanica is a enchanting magical shop nestled in the historic heart of Edinburgh's old town, founded by Brooke in early 2019. With a passion for natural magic and ancient traditions, Brooke has a rich background in candlemaking, having started as a teenager and studying Herbology at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh. The store offers a thoughtfully curated collection of mystical items, including beautiful tarot cards, sustainably sourced crystals, herbs, books, and a wide range of handmade artisan candles that revive the art of candlemaking on Candlemaker Row, a location of deep personal significance to Brooke.
Operating alongside her partner, Pieter-Paul, and a dedicated small team, Black Moon Botanica provides an array of products, such as wax melts, perfume oils, bath soaks, and herbal blends. Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, the shop has flourished, continuing to share its magical offerings with both locals and visitors alike.
