About BlackMouse
BlackMouse is a Prague-based business connecting 3D printing, software, web development, and Linux server services. Since 1999, it has created websites and custom applications and maintained Linux servers; in recent years, it has also focused on 3D printing, drawing on practical experience with the Prusa ecosystem. Its offerings include custom 3D printing and modeling, technical consulting, and training, as well as tailored web hosting.
A central project is BitBeam, a robot-building construction kit developed since 2011. Customers can print its parts themselves or purchase a ready-made set. The design includes hundreds of pieces that connect with M4 screws or plastic pins and are compatible with LEGO Technic. Parts are designed to print without supports, and the open design is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Created in OpenSCAD, BitBeam can be adapted to specific needs.
BlackMouse also develops websites and applications, commonly using Python and PHP. Its open-source projects include software for web development, documentation, text editing, and mind mapping.
