Black Rock Farm

Black Rock Farm LLC is an equestrian training and boarding facility in Putnam, Connecticut, founded by Kassandra Cousseillant and Ariana Cyr. Specializing in hunter-jumper and equitation, the farm offers horse-led training, showing, and support for riders and horses at different stages of development. Its approach treats each horse as an individual, with careful attention to physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Set on 114 acres in northeastern Connecticut, the facility includes an eight-stall barn, an outdoor arena, a round pen, nine turnout paddocks, wooded trails, and open fields. Horses receive full-day turnout when weather permits. Black Rock Farm also offers horses for sale or lease, with leases available on or off the farm, and welcomes training horses and show clients. The team travels to rated competitions, including HITS, Marshall & Sterling Finals, USHJA Zone 1 Finals, the Capital Challenge Horse Show, and the National Horse Show. Prospective clients can contact the farm to arrange a visit, tour the facility, and discuss their program needs.
