About Blacksburg Museum
Blacksburg Museum & Cultural Foundation is a renowned brand dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and promoting the art, history, and cultural heritage of Blacksburg. Founded in July 2013, this 501c3 nonprofit organization stemmed from a passionate committee formed by concerned citizens who recognized the importance of safeguarding and understanding Blacksburg's rich history. Thanks to their efforts, the Foundation secured the necessary funds to establish a central location for fulfilling this vital mission.
Operating independently since July 2013, the Blacksburg Museum & Cultural Foundation oversees the Alexander Black House & Cultural Center and St. Luke and Odd Fellows Hall. These iconic venues serve as the cornerstone for preserving, promoting, and interpreting the arts, history, and cultural heritage of Blacksburg.
