Black Shirt Services, LLC is a community-based provider supporting individuals with disabilities throughout Utah. The organization is contracted with the Utah Division of Services for People with Disabilities and focuses on fostering progress, health, safety, and enrichment for the people in its care.

Its services include Host Homes, where clients are matched with families able to provide support suited to their personalities and preferences. Black Shirt Services describes this family-like setting as a potentially more therapeutic and enriching alternative to a traditional group home. Host Home families are equipped to provide appropriate supervision and address clients’ medical and behavioral needs.

The organization also offers community-based day and summer programs. Activities are tailored to clients’ interests and needs, encouraging them to try new experiences and move beyond their comfort zones. Safe, reliable round-trip transportation is provided between clients’ homes and activities throughout the community.
