Black Sky Books is the publishing imprint and online home of Australian author Robert Tillsley, who writes science fiction and fantasy as R Max Tillsley. The site brings together his books for adults and younger readers, along with information and resources for readers, educators and media.
Its featured title, Wayfarer’s Rift, launches The Wayfarer Chronicles, a portal fantasy series following a teacher swept into a dangerous journey across worlds. The catalogue also includes adult titles such as The Last Cruise Ship, Project Eclipse and The Darkness Without, as well as short stories featured in anthologies. Younger readers can explore books including The Steele Trap, The Steele Bite, Brainz Rebyrth, The Winter King and My First Zombie. Black Sky Books also presents picture books, including a story about Sam and an unusual pet, designed for children looking for something beyond familiar fairytale companions.
