Blackwall

Blackwall provides web security and traffic management solutions for service and hosting providers, with technology designed for on-premises and cloud hosting environments. Its flagship platform, GateKeeper, is a scalable, high-availability system that inspects and filters web traffic before it reaches applications. It helps protect hosted websites and infrastructure from Layer 7 DDoS attacks, brute-force attempts, malicious bots, and other automated abuse.

GateKeeper combines a reverse proxy, detection server, data warehouse, and integration modules for deployment across hosting and billing systems. Its features include a web application firewall, HTTP/3 and TLS 1.3 support, automated SSL certificate provisioning and renewal, content caching, rate limiting, and request throttling. Blackwall also offers services for bot traffic management, content copy prevention, anti-scraping, and CAPTCHA.

The company works with hosting providers to offer security as part of hosting bundles or as an individual service. Blackwall positions its solutions to help providers improve infrastructure efficiency, create recurring revenue opportunities, and deliver protection tailored to small and medium-sized business customers.
