About Blackwater Valley Opera Festival
Blackwater Valley Opera Festival is Ireland's Summer Opera Festival, delighting audiences with a captivating blend of opera and classical music amidst the picturesque Blackwater Valley. The festival showcases the best of both emerging Irish talent and renowned international artists, enriching the region's cultural life. The festival's home is the magnificent Lismore Castle, providing a magical backdrop for their bespoke opera productions.
In addition to opera, the festival also offers a diverse range of concerts, recitals, and free community events, allowing everyone to discover and enjoy the beauty of opera and classical music.
