Blackwater Cybersecurity

Blackwater Verify is an enterprise digital trust platform that helps organisations assess whether digital media is authentic, manipulated or potentially AI-generated. Its live VerifyScan service analyses still images for signs of synthetic generation, face swapping and other manipulation, returning a named finding only when evidence meets a calibrated threshold. When evidence is insufficient, the result is marked inconclusive and referred for human review; genuine photos of people commonly receive this outcome. Customers can submit images through the console or API, with findings and signed webhooks available for integration into organisational workflows.

The platform serves recruitment and workforce teams, financial services, government, media and publishers, enterprise security, and legal and investigations organisations. Use cases include remote hiring checks, digital onboarding and fraud screening, editorial authentication, and investigations. Each completed analysis creates a tamper-evident decision record containing the case ID, finding, supporting indicators, available C2PA status, timestamp and SHA-256 record hash. Voice and video capabilities are in testing, while real-time call protection and live meeting authentication are in development; these are not yet live services.
