AES Consulting Engineers, located in Williamsburg, VA, is a leading brand specializing in site engineering, land planning, surveying, landscape architecture, and municipal utilities design. With over 30 years of experience in Virginia, AES has been serving the needs of private land developers and municipalities across the state. Recently, AES expanded its presence in the Harrisonburg market and the Western Virginia region by welcoming Blackwell Engineering to its talented team.
This merger allows AES to provide even more comprehensive services to its clients. Founded by Dick Blackwell in 1988, Blackwell Engineering has been a family company, with Ed Blackwell taking over as the leader after more than a decade of running the company. AES was impressed by Blackwell's similar culture and approach to client and employee care, making the merger a perfect fit.
The shared expertise and commitment to quality ensure a smooth transition for both companies. AES is optimistic about the future growth of the Western Virginia market, and with Ed and his team at the helm, they are well-positioned for success.
